Dead City Rats got together recently with some guest musicians, and honorary Rats, to record our version of Aerosmith’s, “Rats in the Cellar”. Crammin’ so much talent into a hole-in-the-wall studio took some effort but we managed to pull off a version that, in my humble opinion, rivals that of the original. Former Beautiful Authentic Zoo Gods members Eric Grimmitt and Jeff Ketron joined forces again to work the guitars while low end specialist Chad Pollock laid the groove leaving Todd to roll doobies for the band while nodding his approval. Jeff Ware squared off with Janky for the lead vocal position with Ware clearly dominating in the role with the added bonus of a harmonica solo.
